How we work
Infrastructure, not trading
ASE was established to build, own and operate storage, and to make capacity available to fuel suppliers, obligated stockholders, industry and government on commercial terms. We do not trade fuel. That keeps our interests aligned with the people who use the capacity.
Partnership
We develop projects in genuine partnership with landowners and the communities that host them. That means shared benefit, local employment and training, and infrastructure designed to serve a region for decades, well beyond any single industry cycle.
Standards
Our facilities will be engineered and operated to Australian standards, with safety, environmental management and the security of critical infrastructure built into the design from day one.
Staged delivery
We develop in stages rather than as a single build, so that useful capacity comes online early.
Long horizons
Properly maintained, fuel storage assets have a working life measured in decades. We develop and contract on that horizon, in the right sequence, with partners who share it.
Talk to us
We work with landowners, government, fuel suppliers and investors who share an interest in Australia's fuel security.
